Broward Cultural Division is instrumental in supporting and informing the public about world-class arts and cultural facilities and quality events that enhance Broward’s lifestyle and the state of Florida. Broward County has more than 1.8 million residents, 10.3 million visitors (2.1 million of those are international), 10,000 artists, 6,523 arts-related businesses employing 23,497 people, 575 not-for-profit cultural organizations and 31 municipalities are beneficiaries of the services, technical an marketing assistance and grant funds through Broward Cultural Division.

Forward Together: Diverse Dialogues in the Arts, seeks to empower artists, arts and cultural organizations, cultural workers and arts administrators with the ability to have difficult conversations regarding issues of equity, access and inclusion, and to learn techniques for increasing curiosity, inquiry, listening skills and managing conflict.
From expanding access to the arts and growing organizations through audience development, to advancing initiatives that address community transformation; strong relationships, quality partnerships and productive collaborations are critical to cultivating a demand for the arts across multiple sectors. Advancing arts and culture requires mutual understanding, mitigation of stereotyping and amelioration of conflicts that involve identities, core values and worldviews.Read More and RSVP
