Parks Thanks Students From the Pine Crest School for a Job Well Done!
Nearly three dozen students from the Pine Crest School – 34, to be exact – worked for two hours on January 13 at Reverend Samuel Delevoe Park. The park’s five flower beds were desperately in need of some work to promote the growth of native plants, and the students delivered, cleaning up the flower beds and distributing mulch. Park staff observed that the volunteers were “SUNsational with their eagerness and enthusiasm” and hope they’ll come back to help maintain the flower beds.
