The Reference Section, located on the fifth floor of the Broward County Main Library, has reference information to aid individuals doing business with government agencies at the federal, state, and local levels.

In addition to finding general information and tips on successful bidding, library users may view lists of federal, state, and county contract opportunities, notices to bid, notices for solicitation, requests for proposals, requests for letters of interest, and bid award summary sheets (tabulation sheets listing accepted/rejected bids and at what cost). 

Resources include federal procurement regulations and brochures on how to do business with Broward County.

State of Florida Bids

Florida Administrative Weekly on the Web - website
This site provides citizens direct access to notices of bid announcements for State of Florida projects. To access this information, select an issue date, scroll through the table of contents, and click on "Bids, Proposals, and Purchasing".

Broward County Bids

Broward County Purchasing Division - website  
This site includes Broward County's Procurement Code, how to do business with Broward County, current bids, bid results, vendor registrations, and surplus sale information. A link to the Small Minority Business Affairs page is included.
