This subseries consists of correspondence relating to Shaara's business and legal matters, including letters from libraries, publishers, mail-order catalogs, book shops, and attorneys. Business correspondence also contains a response from PAN-AM to a letter written by Shaara on behalf of his father, Michael Shaara, Sr. Another communication is from the Denver Public Library about Shaara's donation of materials and papers.

File folders only contain letters written to Shaara. Materials are arranged alphabetically by corporate or personal name with the names of all corporate correspondents listed in parentheses.
