Here you will find the “OIG Ethics Handbook: An Internal Guide for Investigations Pursuant to the Broward Code of Ethics.”
This handbook is an evolving body of work reflecting the OIG’s internal policies for its own staff in those areas of the Code of Ethics that could use clarification. It is designed as a reference for the OIG staff responsible for investigations, and it is published to make elected officials and the public aware of the OIG’s interpretations and applications of the Code. The Handbook is intended to maximize OIG’s transparency and efficiency in its enforcement of the Code of Ethics. It is not intended to expand or enlarge upon it.
The current version of the Handbook, with its date of revision, will be maintained here as updates are made.
