The Governmental Relations Section of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and Professional Standards is responsible for developing and coordinating the federal and state legislative programs; fostering relations with municipalities and other governmental entities; coordinating and tracking certain federal grants and Stimulus funds; and administering the board appointments of the County Commission.

Mission Statement:

To enhance the quality of life for Broward County residents, businesses and visitors through effective advocacy and coordination of the Broward County Board of County Commission’s federal, state and local intergovernmental initiatives.
