Course Description:
This course prepares local and State response personnel and other responsible agencies and professionals to handle mass fatalities effectively and to work with the survivors in an emergency or disaster.
Audience:
This course is designed for personnel with a role to play in a mass fatality incident. This would include:
- Coroners,
- medical examiners,
- hospital/clinic staff
- health departments (municipal or county)
- funeral directors,
- first response agencies (fire, police, EMS, etc.),
- planners, and
- emergency management personnel.
