The HumanaVitality tour is back for a second visit to Broward County! Last year was a great success with lots of participation and engagement. This year, Human Resources has scheduled a three-day tour at Governmental Center – Wellness Resource Center, April 8 – 10. Each day is filled with giveaways, and interactive stations that will help you learn more about each aspect of the online wellness program. Plus, the Blender Bike is back; meet your Humana representatives and Broward County’s wellness team. This is your chance to learn about Humana Vitality and get started. Visit Broward.org/MyWellness for additional information.

April 17 is "Take Our Sons and Daughter to Work Day"

April 17 is Broward County’s Take Our Sons and Daughters to Work Day. The event will help children learn about jobs Broward County employees hold, the services they provide, and to become aware of the positive impact the County has on our community. The Human Resources Division has provided resource materials for agencies to use in planning their children’s workday events. In addition, Employee Benefit Services has coordinated a wellness initiative for the children; a healthy no-cooking segment where children can make Fruit Pizzas (adult supervision is required). The no-cooking segment will take place at the Governmental Center – Wellness Resource Center, 2 – 4 p.m. For the resource materials that agencies can utilize for their events, visit the BC-Net.
