Many agencies provide homebuyer education workshops that help you evaluate your financial status and decide if you are ready to buy a home. These workshops provide information about budgeting, insurance, credit, avoiding loan scams, home inspections, home maintenance, mortgages and long-term planning for buying a home.  Click here for Homebuyer Workshops.


Programs

The First-Time Home Buyer Program provides down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible first-time homebuyers who purchase eligible properties in Broward County.  

HUD Home Sales -Florida Incentive The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is offering $100 down payment for qualifying owner-occupant buyer with FHA financing only.

Mortgage Credit Certification (MCC) Program provides the income eligible first-time homebuyer with an opportunity to reduce the amount of federal income tax they owe each year they own and live in their home.
