Purpose:
The New River Orchestra, incorporated in 2007, is the collaboration of a small group of local musicians dedicated to the continued study and performance of classical music. The goal of the New River Orchestra is to provide quality live orchestral performances by local musicians, both advanced amateurs and professionals, for the local South Florida audience. We endeavor to enhance our audience’s appreciation of music by expanding the variety of the classical concert experience.

Projects:
The Annual Summer Serenade Concerts are intended to raise the awareness of classical music performances during the summer months and to provide performance opportunities for local musicians between concert seasons. Future projects in the formative and planning stages include Seasonal/Holiday performances; e.g., Messiah and collaborations with classical dance/ballet companies for joint concerts during the spring season.
