Venue: North Regional Library at BCC North Campus
This sculpture spanning 40 feet in length is composed of thirteen individual glass panels connected by metal rods. An intricate combination of hand-blown, etched and diachronic glass elements are laminated together to form geometric designs of each panel. Since the sculpture is placed under a skylight (also spanning some 40 feet long) and equipped with a mirror to reflect outdoor environs, there is a continuous play of light emanated from the artwork.
The suspended sculpture is situated above a stairway in the center of the library, allowing a spectacular and surrounded viewing from the ground level and second floor of the library.
