
Public Art and Design Consultant
Claire Garrett received a B.S. in Communication Arts from Cornell University and continued her Studio Art education at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. An active sculptor exhibiting her work regionally, Ms. Garrett divides her time between Arts Administration and the practice of studio art.
Before joining Broward Cultural Division in 1995 as a Project Manager, she was employed as the Director of the Art Collectors Gallery in Coral Gables. Prior to that she served as the Interim Curator of Education at the Center for the Fine Arts in Miami, and as the Assistant Director of Gloria Luria Gallery in Bay Harbor Islands. She served as artist representative to the Board of Directors of the Bakehouse Art Complex where she maintained a studio for many years.
